AlloyO Special Metal: Hastelloy C-276 1.2mm in hot sale

Having received a power plant order, AlloyO Special Metal supplied a batch of Hastelloy C-276. The material thickness is 1.2mm, the specifications and quantity can be found in outer packaging of the goods.

Previously, Hastelloy C276 was 1.6mm. Since the similar project was implemented a few years ago, after long-term tracking, Hastelloy has basically no corrosion. In order to save the cost of new projects, new plan of Hastelloy C276 was directly changed to a thickness of 1.2 mm.

For design change, AlloyO Special Metal believes that from an economic point, it does not reduce the life of the project, but also saves the overall cost of about 25%. why not?
